Hi, I've SEO and general usability concerns. http://www.flunkme.com - in the header I've different names for the same stuff to be more user friendly, in the footer I've same links with different text - 1 word text in footer.

for example: I have:

Header/
Free Essays College Guide Play Games

Footer/
Essays - Blog - Arcade

So what do u think? is it better to have same text considering SEO? what about user friendliness, I think header links are more explanatory but than again who looks for the links in the footer?

With something quite small like this, I don't think it'll have any considerable impact on SEO and I'd go with the more explanatory terms. I don't think anyone should get too caught up in SEO to compromise the human visitors out there. After all, that's who all this SEO is about.

If you feel it'll make a difference. I don't think it'll really have any noticeable effect.

I'd have to go along with Scott. I think what you have right now is fine, both from an SEO and usability stand point.

I wouldn't change a thing! :)
