about getting people to join and post. I have a few good regulars but that's it. Think it might be the skin I'm using? Most people say it's hard to read. But I don't know. About 3 people of the 13,000 that have seen it from Google Adwords have joined.

Bolttraining.com is the site. Please give some suggestions.

Firstly, patience! It will obviously take some time for people to get there. In saying that, I do think the skin is quite tailored to only a minority of peoples' tastes and maybe you'll want to work on this.

Speaking of "patience," you have made progress, haven't you? (In terms of members and posts since your last visit here).

That's a start. I would change the welcome message at the top so that the font matched the rest of the forum - doesn't really fit in at the moment. :)

is much too large and in your face. If you have to scroll down to find the forum, that would be a turnoff :)

Also reduce the "black space" and logo size at the top :)

In my browser, the "black space" and announcement take up all my above fold screen.

If you are in college a good way to get people to join is to post p flyer's. You can also try to hold several referral contests, where the member who invites the most active users gets a prize.

From what I notice your site is down right now. Which pulls people away, uptime in my eyes is critical. Oh well, I will join when its back online.

Bolttraining.com is not accessible from my end?

Well If you are setting up a forum and want to see a forum filled with people (You should have started it 6 years back actually)
Otherwise you can wait for 5 more years to see it filled.
