Hello there :D

Well, as you might of guessed my name is Scott. I'm from Bonnie old Scotland and I'm afraid to say I'm only a teenager. Got some pretty long experience with IPB and running a community in general. Hope to be able to contribute something.

Welcome to FU Scott :wavey:

Don't worry, teen age doesn't last forever, so kick up your heels while you can :pink: <<< Highland Fling?

Welcome Scott! :welcome:

Glad to have you here. :)

Would you like to tell us more about your background? It sounds like you'll have lots to contribute. But if you don't want to tell us, that's OK.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone :)

More about me...well I currently administer 2 IPB forums and 1 phpBB. My main responsibility is making sure everything runs properly on the techy side. Pretty knowledable with skinning forums and with general PHP. Lots of things which I know not to do when setting up a forum, hopefully others can learn from my experience.

:pink: <- Dancing looks good, not sure that I've seen many pink highland dancers before though.

As for the singing...I'm all ears.

That's one of the general ideas for this forum, sharing knowledge and experience about online communities and the like. People just starting out and those who already have an established forum can learn from others. :)

Yeah, after you've been a member here for a couple of weeks, they take you out to the "dark room" (where they promise cookies!) and they plug you into this machine. That machine then downloads the contents of your brain. Then the machine distributes that informtion to the collective. :D

Or that was my general understanding.
