Hello everyone,

I'm currently starting up a forum, and wanted to learn more about the best way to get it started. I am currently using phpbb with an integration with MediaWiki, but already spammers have started opening accounts even with the captcha on. Not sure if I should wait for version 2 to think about getting VB.

Sounds like you've got some forum experience there. Don't forget there are alternatives to vB you might want to explore. You'll find out about some of them by taking a look around this place. :)

There's a good hack to stop bots from signing up at your phpBB forum. Let me run off and find that.
