PHPBB mods

As I have *nearly* acquired an existing phpbb forum, I would like to know what are some cool mods to add and where to get them :pimp:

First priority is the equivelant to vBulletin's NoSpam!. Where do I get that and how do you install it. The admin control area is a bit lacking in the features I am so used to in vB :p

Simple and effective.

Of course, it ain't no plugin. And ain't a simple modification. But, it's very effective for fending off them durned spam bots.

Hello Jan,
Is the forum extremely modded at the moment? Maybe it would be a good idea to upgrade the forum from phpbb to vB? You are more use to it then phpbb anyhow :)
I just thought I would advise that before you went and added to many hacks to perform the upgrade. Although I am not even sure if many hacks will interfere with a phpbb > vB upgrade?

The forum is just bare bones from what I see so far. I'm going to wait and see if it picks up a bit of momentum before I outlay money for a vBulletin.
