Because what I really need in my life right now is another online community in which to take part :flowers:
Hi everyone! I'm pretty familiar with most of the names on this forum, and I've even seen a few faces and shook a few hands with some too. But I'll give a full introduction for anyone whom I'm meeting for the first time.
My name is Paul, and I'm from Canton, Ohio. I'm a full time Web developer for Equentity LLC and a full time instructional designer for Diebold, Inc. Yes, that comes out to about 80 hours per week. Along with my work responsibilities, I'm one of the three founders (and a current administrator) of the International Web Developers Network online discussion group and community liaison on Web Hosting Talk.
I'm two months away from getting married to the most wonderful woman in the world, and my fiancee, Amy, and I recently added a puppy to our existing family of my two cats and us. I'm a pool/billiards/snooker player (one-pocket is my money game, but I love a good 9-ball set any day), I've played piano pretty much my entire life, I love skiing and occasionally I make it to the gym for judo. Lately, with work piling up, I've been relegated to the treadmill and chasing after the dog when she escapes for my exercise :) If you want to know more about me, I'm online at www.paulhirsch.com .
My limited time means limited visibility here, but I promise when I do have something to contribute, I'll do my best to make it a quality contribution, and when I do have something to learn, I'll give my fullest attention and respect to those kind enough to teach me.
Thanks everyone, and have a great day!

Actually, they're your brownies. I just know where you stash them.
I also know where Jan stashes those chocolate chip cookies. She's replenished the stash since I fed the last ones to a newbie, so here are the latest. Help yourselves while they're available. :)

Which is equally disturbing. :erm:

Now look what you did, Paul.
Alex, we have a special coconut cream pie for you today. There are only crumbs left on the counter, but if you look in the fridge, behind the cauliflower (nobody thinks to look past it), you'll find a special pie just for you.
But I hope you'll share it. :flirt:

OK, so you know. Who else should we offer a cow pie to? We don't even need to keep them in the fridge. ;)
I didn't know how you went from coconut cream pie to cow pie. The latter gave me flashbacks to my childhood around farm animals, but I'll leave it at that. :pink:

Now this is getting interesting. I'm from the west coast of Canada, where our culture is similar in some ways to US west coast culture. Alternative is normal, and being vegetarian is common. We're stereotyped as tree-hugging granola eaters here. :)
Personally, I don't like granola, but I have stood in front of logging trucks, I'm not unusual as a sort of health food nut, my recipe collection includes at least 3 recipes for vegetarian chili, and...I don't eat red meat. :bananad: When I think of chili, I assume it's vegetarian until I remember that not all folks, er, think that way.
So...yes! I want vegetarian chili. Even though I just cooked some for myself last week. :)
