How to promote a poker forum?

Hey,
I am working on a poker forum right now and I wanted to get tips from anyone that has run a similar site.

I know a lot about running sites and forums, I do it as a living but I wanted to know if there's anything special I should consider for a poker forum?

The first thing I want to do is get my name out but I think a poker forum is different than a lot of others I have run.

I want the forum to have a mature and professional member base.

Normally when I start out a site I do a post contest, I have thought of one for my forum but it is a little different than I normally do.

Hey Jan,
Yeah I am a member of quite a few poker forums.

It's just like a sports or betting forum really, you discuss game play, strategy and mainly complain about the money your losing ;)
