Hey everyone,

Time to get the community challenges going!

The site is www.DeuceAce.com

I am trying to aim pretty high for a new forum of mine, I will be putting a lot more into this one than my others and I think I can reach my goals.

Here are my main goals:

[ ] Write 20 poker room reviews myself
[ ] Write 10 poker related articles myself
[ ] Add at least 2 flash poker movies
[ ] Have a steady rate of at least 200 unique visitors per day
[ ] Generate an income of at least $300/month average
[ ] Reach 600 registered members
[ ] Reach 7500 quality posts
[ ] Improve my custom design
[ ] Add a directory to the site and get at least 200 submissions


Some of these are high targets to reach because I run quite a few sites but I know if I put a lot of effort into the site I can manage it.

I will keep this thread updated with the progress of all my goals and cross them off when I reach each.
I will include what I am doing to reach my goals and if they are working or not.

Any feedback, ideas or suggestions let me know :)

Just an update...

Have been really busy lately so haven't had much of a chance to work on the site but I will be starting from today again.

I have two other sites that I am finishing off but they should be finished soon so I can work on DeuceAce full time :)

Still think I will meet my goals!

good luck some of those goals are pretty high for a new forum. But if you keep at it you will achieve them.

Ok its time to cheat :)

I don't have enough time so I'm going to pay someone to start doing articles and room reviews for me.

My stats are going up at a small but steady rate, I think I will reach the avg. of 200 uniques/day hopefully with some help from google when the content gets indexed more :)

I have to think about the poker flash movies..I think it is difficult coming up with ideas on what to do the flash movies about so I think that just needs more thought.

Income...doing well in this regards and starting to get people just signing up for ad space through my advertising page. I have most of my space booked up for a few months and I am hoping to get a few long term sponsors worked out maybe by the end of my challenge.

The hard part...members and posts.
I think this is the hardest part of my challenge, although I haven't started doing any paid advertising - Any money I have made is going into content and paying for coding I have had done.
Any poker players here? Time for you to help me out with this challenge ;)

Custom design..I have a contest going on right now for the navigation bar but I really haven't seen anything I like that would fit the design - If there are any designers here the contest ends tomorrow (Tuesday) - PM me for a link if your interested in doing a nav bar.

The directory hasn't had many submissions simply because I haven't advertised it anywhere and it isn't even in the navigation bar because I'm waiting for a new design - So this is another problem!
