Ok, it's been a month or so in the works, think it's finally done, now it's just time to see what the rest of the world thinks of it, right? ;)

The theme is actually very nice and fitting. Also I like the idea of an Arcade and Quiz to spice up the forum and make it different.
Very nice look, and a heck of lot of games. Where did you find them all?

I was debating on that theme or the one I had used previously. The only thing that really made me choose that specific one was the fact that it wasn't as "popular" as some of the others, meaning less used, more unique ;) . So far, it's worked methinx :P
As far as the games:
Some of them I downloaded from the ibproarcade site, some, well, I did a bit of a torrent searching for ibp games. Came up with one that had around 600 or so games, and latched onto that pretty quickly. I've had to remove a good number of them for language, some pretty wierd stuff, but that's what you get when you get that many games.

well the design is good but when looked on 800*600 it gives a wide design which i have to scroll and many does not like to scroll pages,

We're sorry, but free email accounts aren't allowed here.
i think most of the new bees of clients who wish to buy and search hosting have free e-mails. I don't think it is a good idea to forbidden free e-mail registrations.
But it can make a more secure comminity too

The email thing is one that I thought about long and hard before I put it in there, but it's something that's a good thing, to me at least. Of course it took about 2 hours to get that list of email domains in there, probably only half of 'em, but I hit the major ones :)
Part of the reasoning is just what you said, it provides a bit more "secure" community. Another part is that it allows some sort of real validation and verification of users. At least with non free webmail, one can track down someone (kind of) if there's a problem ;)
You think that's bad, try registering as a non adult :skully: . I just wanted to (try to) create a community that offers something for mature conversation. Not that those two restrictions will ensure that, or that they're 100% secure (I know there's probably a good deal more "free email") domains out there, and that age thing is easily gone around :), but they at least help to provide that atmosphere.

I had a hosting-talk domain years ago, not sure if it was this though. Think I had a good few and the hosting-talk.net was one.
It's a very nice design! Really easy on the eyes and looking forward to seeing the other sections up.
Whats your plans for the directory?

The directory will be juswt that, a directory of
hosts (separated by os->control panel)
service providers (such as myself, godaddy, etc)
anything else I can think of hosting related;)
Ideally, I'll be allowing individuals to rate/review the hosts in there, of course if that gets too far out of hand, then I will just remove that ability.
Not sure how I'm going to work it 100% yet, but I'm getting there slowly.
I am wondering if you should have added the arcade before building up a member base? I joined just to take a look at the games :D
Yeah, it seems like a lot of people do just that. Arcades are great additions to communities - it does keep the users at the site.

Directory = Complete, yaaaaay. I wasn't going to do a topsites thing, but hey, it looked good ;)

Gotta give people something to join initially for! Content is good, and that'll come along eventually , but arcade (+600 games ;)) = goooooood ;)
I'm actually thinking right now if I went a bit overboard with the news bot. Not sure if I'm gonna keep him around or not
