Inspired by the WHT thread, I thought I'd start this version over here for reaching a member milestone. If you've reached a milestone number of members on your forum and want to shout about it, this is the thread for you.

Looks like FU will be making the 100 milestone pretty soon :D

Although we officially opened on 09-18-2005 (http://www.forumuniversity.com/campus/showthread.php?t=7), I think it wasn't until about a month later that we actually acted like it was open.

So, that's about three months for the first hundred. Which, with as much promotion as we did in that time, I think is pretty well. :yippee:

My forum hit 600 today :D
Congrats Scott! :D

I remembered when HTTPme hit the 1,000 member mark (http://httpme.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8102&highlight=1000+members). I thought I was hot stuff on a stick! :banana2:

So many fond memories of building that .COMmunity - oh yeah, and the hosting business that ran along side it. :D

Bit of a spin on the WHT and FU thread, instead of the number of posts we have, post any milestones for the number of posts your forum has hit :)

My latest milestone was yesterday:

Site: www.WebmasterForums.net
Posts: 25000

I'm very happy with this milestone, big one for me!

Could you edit the first topic Jan to include I have x posts and X members in my forum?

First topic was for members and mine was for posts in your forum :)

Yep I stuck it in the lounge :)

Generic would work even better.

Well, it's been madness at my forum.

In the past 3 days we gotten about 30 new members. A huge change from our usual 1-3 a day. I just don't know where they are coming from :S

But we did hit 500! :evilb:

Congrats Tyler!

Check your stats to see if you have a lot of hits from any other sites recently to see where they could be coming from, or you could add a field to your registration page so they can enter how they found it :)

Milestones: over 300 members, 13000 posts and 2000 topics .. al happened in the last weeks, so I was very happy. And still, there are so many things to be worked out, so I can't really enjoy my victories.
