Hello newbie over here.

I am re-branding my website, the original website is http://www.lyricalsoundz.com

I have made some major changes to the template.

The top http://www.lyricalsoundz.com/top.gif

The bottom http://www.lyricalsoundz.com/bottom.gif

Not much changes have been made to the bottom but alot has been done with the header.

Please comment on top and bottom of the website :) i want to make it look perfect before the i open it :D

For me, that is far too dark and I would probably not last long on that site and definatly wouldn't be inclined to register. If you can, in any way, contrast the colours to take the impact of the black background down a bit, I would suggest you do so.

One other small detail I will mention, you don't seem to have a button which goes from your portal to your forum. (You have User CP, Members, etc). If I were you'd I'd put one in there which goes to the forum index, as that'll be what most people want to see.

Actually, I really like the top and bottom (the bottom graphic is very nicely done!), however, the content in the middle looks like just about every other phpNuke site out there.

I would lighten the look a bit (to expand upon what Scott mentioned), other than that, looks promising.

dont need to do the white version, but you can have different grey levels for columns

Ive lightened it a bit and made some more changes on the header. ( not finished yet )
