Hate to do it, but they left me no option. I used a "template" I found online, so hopefully it is in the correct format. Do you think anything needs added, or changed? Thanks in advance.

My only experience in this area is going after webmasters of sites with content that I own the copyright to. I write straightforward letters and inform them that if they don't take action within 7 (or 14) days, I will take further action. (So far, I haven't had to take further action.)

Based on that, my suggestions are to:

a) Write it in the same tone but in clearer language, especially as you're writing to someone in a country with a different first language.

(b) Give a deadline at which you'll take further action.

The part that starts with "I have good faith belief that" would be stronger if you left it out. It sounds like it's possible that you're wrong. But you know you're right, right?

I wonder if you want to edit out (or at least make spam-unfriendly) the email addresses and other contact information from your post.

Lois

Hm, yah. But I need it to be in the form of a DMCA. I'll try and be more firm and give a deadline.

As for the email addresses, honestly I can careless. That is not my primary email nor do I trust them with it. More of a "don't care what happens to it" email address.

Thanks for the suggestions Lois :)

Tyler,

This other chap is from Russia, so you've got a snowflake's chance in hell of enforcing anything there. Good luck though!

The language barrier will probably be a problem here, which is definitely annoying.

Good luck though :)

More like the, "we're from Russia, so you can go and get stuffed" barrier.

:D :eek2:

Yah, I know Bob. I wonder if they will call me a "Stupid American" :D

But, I plan on using this as a template for others. So, I'm not wasting too much time on this.

Scott, yah. I really need to find someone who can take a minute and translate it for me. But, oh well :D
