Avatars and Smileys - where to find?

Hello

i have lots of comminities about fan pages, hosting, computer related... etc. We need different avatars and smileys?

How can we find this? Could you recommend sites?

And what are your suggestions about adding extra avatars? What is the optimum number of avatars in a normal forum

Well, if you don't want us to say that, what can we say? :P

As for "normal" numbers, I don't know if such a number would be useful to you. Pick a range of shoe sizes for your gender, for example. All of those sizes are "normal," but only one of those sizes works for you. Just go with what suits you and what works for your forum. :)

Depends what you're forum is about. If it's quite a specific genre, such as a gaming forum (for example), then I'm sure you'll be able to find images on the game's site. Obviously, you need to watch out for copyright and check for permission before you use them :)

Good source of smilies. When I moved my mboard about a week ago to a VPS, I didn't realise how many I had! I ended up pruning some out.
