Hey everyone, I just recently found this forum today, and I must say, what a great idea :)

Anyways, I have been hard up to get a good idea for a forum, and I finally decided on an Internet Help Forum, that will help with Security, as well with Website designing, etc. And right now I am trying to figure out if I have enough stuff for the forum, to cover the major things for both of the subjects.

Thats the link to the forums, as its easier to do that then list off all of the areas I have for this forum. I would just like some ideas if anyone has other ideas on what I could add. Also just some general feedback would be great!

Firstly, welcome to FU! :welcome: This would probably be better suited in the reviews section, but since you're new I'm sure noone will bark.

As for your forum, the skin is pretty nice, certainly stands out. You are using a pretty old version of IPB though. I know the later versions cost, but they do have security patches which you should consider.

You have quite a lot of forums there, especially for a new board. Try to think of ones you can merge together, for example do you need an entire one devoted to wireless protection?

Another point I'll make, and I don't mean to be putting you off, but there are already a lot of forums with a similar genre out there. Find ways to make yours different, and you'll succeed without a problem.

Finally, get posting! You really need to hit the deck here and post your heart out. Lead by example and others will follow. It will be painful at times when you struggle to get the first few members, but if you put in the effort you'll get it back eventually. Good luck, and don't be afraid to ask for advice :)

Thanks for the advice, and ya I wasn't sure if this was the place to put it... but eh, if it gets moved it gets moved lol.

But ya, I have been having a really hard time trying to think of an original one, it seems like everything I think of there is tons of forums like it already out there :-/

If anyone has some suggestions lol feel free to post them :p

It's now in Reviews, and we don't even bark at long-time members. We have a few animals around here that are responsible for some antics, but no dogs. :) :piggy: :fish: :tweety: :spider: :pink:

A forum description at the top of the page would help distinguish this forum from other forums and draw people in. Also, do you want The Incinerator to be viewable to the public?

A little more contrast with the font colour would help, but the background is easy on the eyes. :)
