HostFrog Review

I am sure anyone who has posted here saw the old look. Does this look a little better than that? http://www.host-frog.com/forum/ I need as much feedback as possible.

I took a quick look for now, and my first impressions are:

- The colour theme is easy on the eyes.
- The width is way wider than what fits in my 800X600 screen, which makes it difficult for me to really see.

I'm sure more feedback will come. :)

How would I correct this, because as it is I have 100% on the width. I wanted to integrate it into the design but, I think I may let vbulletinskinz do this.

I got it :D

Change the forumheader.jpg width. Align it to center if it isn't already.

It's currently 1000 pixels wide and stretches the rest of the page to the same width. Should be OK when the image is sized to the correct width (can be resized to about 350 wide by removing the white spaces at the side)

still to wide for me, i had to scroll, and i have 1200 x 800 res

I like the banner, the text in it, could be a little bigger
"Leap into a better hosting provider" is a little blurry for me,, great slogan, but hard to read.
and I'd buy hostfrog.com if its not taken also..IMO url's without the - tend to have better results..

Resizing the banner shouldn't be too big a problem. You can use CSS to make sure the background stays white where the banner is. Give us a shout if you need a hand with this.

On the rest of the site, I agree with Lois, the colours are nice and easy on the eyes. One thing I would suggest is changing the mouseover colour on the forums to one which better contrasts the mouseout colour. That way, people know that they have their mouse over that forum and will likely go there if they click.

Looks like you're already having success with over 100 members, good luck with getting hundreds more. :)
