Hi!
Here is my challenge. I built Vaestro.com (http://www.vaestro.com). It is a network of voice forums. Anyone can go there and create a free voice board (we call em channels) and enjoy the convenience of a message board structure...with the natural power of voice. It is pretty cool.
Now, we are a tiny company. We have no venture capital backing. We already have some communities that have found it and love it...but we need to get the word out further...
I would love it if you looked around my site, did some brainstorming...about all the millions of applications my voice forum software has...and then give me your marketing strategy. For example, we could target:
TV audiences...
Film audiences...
Computer Hardware and Software retailers...
Or..
Political discussion sites..
Schools and Universities...
Gamers...
You see...the possibilities are basically infinite.. So where do we begin?
Google Ads?
Banner ads on specific sites?
Radio Ads?
Anyways..thanks for listening. Oh and my goal? Very big... Let's see... How about:
Goals
1000 unique visitors a day
1000 registered users
50 New Vaestro Channels created
That would get us started.
Current Status:
We have had about 600 unique visitors in the first 13 days and a handful of early registrations. We haven't spent a dime on marketing yet.... The talk has started....but what now.
Anyways, I am looking forward to your ideas. If you owned or worked for Vaestro.com...what would you do to help it take over the world and replace talk radio as we know it... (Or at least grow big and successful as fast as possible with the least investment.)
