A lot of people don't like text on a dark background, and sorry, I'm one of them. :( I like the design, but I have difficulty reading the post text. OTOH, considering the topic, your members might like the dark background.

If you think it might be a problem for some people, you could ask your members what they think of it. With luck, you'll get responses from newbies too.

Enlarging the text would help with readability too. :)

The green text on the main page works well for me. However, I miss the other text completely with my monitor at its usual brightness settings, and I can't read the post text without adjusting the brightness.

I have to agree with Lois, it is too hard on the eyes. The index page isn't *too* bad, but trying to read posts is *click the X* material.
