A couple I've been thinking of are,

1. The alphabet included.

The first post must include a word that begins with the letter A.
Subsequent posts follow the alphabet and need to include the next letter.
Follow up posts need to make sense in context to the thread.2. The Word of the Day play.

We pick a date to begin using the Word of the Day (http://dictionary.reference.com/wordoftheday/archive/).
Someone begins a thread that includes the word for that day.
The next post needs to include the next word of the day.
Bonus for being able to keep the thread in some sort of order. :DI don't really want to do things I've seen done elsewhere. And from these two suggestions, I think the Word of the Day play can help everyone increase their vocabulary.

What do you think?

Words !

Always preferred numbers, but I think the second one sounds good :)

I saw a cute little game where people got a clip from a movie and you had to guess what it was from. Not a word game, but still cute.

I like the second one :) That might just help them old people use more words :grandpa: jk :P

We'll have to wait for writespeak to stop in. Seems she mentioned the second one once upon a time. But it got put on the back burner and now it's time to move it to the front. :)

I think both would be rather fun. The alphabet game would probably run its course pretty quick, but the second game looks like it'll go on for a good while.

I like all the ideas. Including moving one of them to the front burner. :pink:
