We have a section on the home page (http://www.forumuniversity.com/), where we are going to place a forum in the spotlight.

The spotlight will include a link to the forum, a review of it, and hopefully an interview the owner/developer.

I went through and randomly chose seven forums from the Reviews category (http://www.forumuniversity.com/campus/forumdisplay.php?f=26) that we can vote on.

DeuceAce Poker Forum (http://www.deuceace.com/)
Alien Hub (http://www.alienhub.com/website/)
TalkSonic.com Boards (http://www.sonicthehedgehog.net/board/)
Bollywood Entertainment Forum (http://forums.bollyent.com/)
WebmasterForums.NET (http://www.webmasterforums.net/)
HTTPguru Webmaster Community (http://www.httpguru.com/)
Inkify (http://www.inkify.com/forums.php)

Please vote for one you think should be in the spotlight first. :)

Wow, 5 way tie at time of this post...out of interest - what happens if there is a tie and how long does voting last?

If there remains a tie, I think I'll just throw the names into a hat and grab one.

I'm not exactly sure where this is going to go. But I have a general idea. :)

I just need one to get started on. I don't think it needs to be a monthly series yet. So, the poll is kinda open-ended.

Hopefully we can get a few votes. :)

I ended up picking httpgurus. While i think its a bit ad-happy i liked what i saw when i glanced around. how could i not vote or a forum that has a 'geek' rank.

I liked their idea of having the rules area advertised as 'protecting the community' Sorta cute. Articles, quicklinks to google searches.... I'm not froathing at the mouth impressed with them but out of them list it was the only one that moved me. Probably completely biased opinion based on their forum topic.

Will you ever set 'voting' criteria?

I picked the one I believe has worked the hardest. The way he(/she) worked on their forum, and how much time they have put into it just leaves me in awe. Although he(/she) has still not quite "made it over the hump", I believe they are more than deserving of this.

I'll leave you guessing on who I chose ;)

There is certainly a variation to choose from here :)

I picked Dueceace, because the new skin and logo totally rocks! :D

Now get rid of those pesky boxes on the left, and she'll be apples mate. ;)

Bit late to the thread, as always :D

I did remove most of the boxes on the last month by the way ;)
