Hey,
Well I set goals for DeuceAce that I couldn't reach last time.
This time I am going to focus on something that will be a little easier :)
[ ] Get 10 poker room reviews
[ ] Get 20 poker related articles
[ ] Have a steady rate of at least 200 unique visitors per day
[ ] Reach 450 registered members
[ ] Reach 5000 quality posts
[ ] Finish off all site sections (Arcade, Poker Tools, Shop)
Well I hope I can achieve it anyway :)
Time to get cracking eh ;)

Attainable goals . . . a topic all unto itself. :)

Any goal is certainly within reach, the questions that remains is dedication to your goals. If you really want that...go out and get it. Seems that you know exactly what you want. Good luck with everything. Let us know your process.
So how's it goin' now you're at the half way point John?

I have 15 of the articles done now but I haven't put any online yet.
The reviews haven't been started but once they are they should be done pretty quick.
Visitors...thats around 125/day now, I have some plans that will help increase activity and hopefully traffic.
One of the main things will be freerolls (Users can win money in a poker tourney but dont have to pay anything to enter) which I am getting organised today.
There are nearly 4000 posts and 300 members right now, I think I can get the posts easily enough but the members might be a little harder, hoping the freerolls will attract more new members as well :)
I started working on the other site sections today as well, for the poker tools I got licenses for a lot of poker programs that I am going to test out and review, that will help start it off anyway :)
I didn't think about a holiday during this time so I missed out 2 weeks, hopefully that wont stop me reaching any of the goals!

Sorry, very late replying, been busy reaching these goals ;)
I have 7,357 posts and 679 members right now :)
I lost all the articles though :( That was a good bit of content that would have helped bring more traffic and for SEO.
The site is now up to a PR5, which is pretty good for a poker forum :)
I am getting 200+ visitors daily now and got a record of 446 visitors on the forum last night which I'm very happy about :)

I broke 2 laptops in a month :)
Too easy to drop them and I broke the hard-disk both times :(
I paid a content writer experienced in poker/gambling to write them for me.
You should quit drinking that Derry Air :evilb:

For what I've seen, when he updates the thread he will have good news:
"Threads: 1,344, Posts: 7,575, Members: 1,074"
So the 450 members goal was already doubled :)
I sometimes find John in other forums. Very active person.
