Hi All
I found this forum from googling around.
I haven't got a forum myself, but I go on a lot of forums as a facilitator to get things off the ground.
It's fun, and I cover quite a wide range of subjects, from science to travel.
I might set up a forum of my own in the future, but it depends on a number of things - so many topics are now covered, so why keep re-inventing the wheel?
Anyhow - I think I'll enjoy learning from this forum.

Welcome to FU!! What keywords did you use exactly to find this place?
True, but no one gets a good forum without trying in the first place. A lot of the bigger forums now weren't anything 1-2 years ago.
Its isn't always a matter of doing something no ones done before, just do it better for your target people... and advertise!

Welcome :wavey:
In my absense it doesn't look like anyone has cleaned the :couch:, so I'd avoid that if I were you.
Still, help yourself to some  and :pie:

Hi - thanks for your welcome. My keywords were, not surprisingly, "university" and "forum", but I was looking for forums about different universities - but I'm glad I've run into this all the same. You were on page 13!

Thanks, Scott - will do.
Welcome to FU! :wavey:
Yeah starting a forum from scratch in this day and age might be a bit of a battle, but who knows, there may still be some areaa within your interests that is untapped  Good luck to if you decide to launch one.
:welcome:

Thanks, Jan.
From what I've seen on the web, it does look as though almost everyone is trying to launch a forum at the moment!

... I was looking for forums about different universities ...We sucked someone else in (http://www.forumuniversity.com/campus/showthread.php?p=3724) the same way!
Good to have you here, telegraph.hill. :wavey:
/me wonders what happened to the doughnuts he thought were on the coffee table. :iunno:
I'd blame :pink: But we have had that little :):):) infestation problem though. :bump: <<<< That emoticon don't work. It's just such a fun, action-filled, one that I used it anywho! :D
