I'm stumped :iunno:

I can't find the template to edit that removes the "If this is your first visit, be sure to check out the FAQ by clicking the link above. You may have to register before you can post: click the register link above to proceed. To start viewing messages, select the forum that you want to visit from the selection below." text message, when an unregistered member accesses the forum.

Can anyone help me out? Many thanks. :dancin:

I think it's in your FORUMHOME template.

Go to admin > Search in Templates > and search for "first_visit_message"

You should be able to confirm that's what you're looking for by going to Languages and Phrases > Search in Phrases > first_visit_message and view the text.

Why you want to remove it anywho? :angel:

The Dotable site is going to the full forum platform (http://forums.dotable.com/showthread.php?t=419), so I need to remove that from the forum as such.

I removed it from httpme's forum, when httpme went with the forum platform as the site. Just couldn't remember where the darned template was. This new VB admin is a lot bigger than the old one. :eyep:
