I have a very popular forum for the province I live in and I've heard comments about taking it to the next level. Thing is, I dunno what they mean by the next level. The forum is very active for our province.

Any suggestions/tips?

What level ya at? :)

If you're all the way up there, there might not be more levels. Got URL? :skully:

Well look at any forum and look what they are (or aren't) doing. A 'first level' might be just setting up a forum and ta-da down. The 'Next' level might having more features or activities for your forum (depends on your topic).

IE a graphics forum might go to the next level by getting a gallery and giving users regular email newsletters about 'highlights' of the gallery.

Honestly the best thing to do is probably ask your users what they want to get a better idea on what you can do next for your forum.

/me didn't click the link BTW

Perhaps you could add a custom skin, instead of phpBB's default? Or even move away from phpBB altogether, you might find software which gives you more features.

I would agree with TheDPQ though, asking your users is a good start.
