We all love adsense, it's so helpful in giving that extra little cash boost. Whilst I'm not to bothered about it being there (ads are ads, they don't take up any extra space), the colours aren't exactly a great match for the rest of the forum, perhaps they could look a little bit more homely?
Just me being me, I know...

Yeah. I was just sorta checking it out and used a color scheme I created for a different site.
How is it now?

After messin' with it a bit, I'm thinkin' maybe we'd be better off without 'em. :S

That looks better. Not too fussed whether they stay or not, I don't think you're out to try and make millions from the site therefore the more money the make (I'm assuming :P) the more money spent on FU.

Actually, haven't had any adsense income from here. I would have thought that, with over 2500 uniques, there'd be something. :violin:

Yeah adsense should really have an option of picking the color of the ads. However i think that if they would blend right in then they wouldn't be as noticeable.

They do :) You can change the background, text, URL and border to match your site :pimp:

On my Floyd site I was doing about $245/mo in Adsense money. You would think that was good, but with all the unique hits and members we receive daily... its actually kind of pathetic.
Not to suggest it here, but we got ride of adsense and just did donations. Easily tripled the amount of money coming in. Which is good as 2TB+ in bandwidth per month.. isn't a single server situation anymore.

I have been a AdSense user, and was kicked off the network. I found myself moving to Yahoo! Publisher Network, and I am now looking at other options. Right now I have it narrowed down between Advertising.com and Tribal Fusion.

I was also kicked off the Google Adsense Network. After using the service for about 2 years, I was shocked by the "invalid click" email from them.
It was quite strange that 5 days before they were suppose to direct deposit the advertising money into our account, they closed our account. I emailed them back our tracking software information, which showed no obvious click-fraud. We got an auto-responded message about a week later, stating they stood by their decision. Was a nice $250 or so deposit that they skipped on.
Google is famous for their business acts such as this. Don't even get me started on how much they screw people over on their Adwords programs. Its rampant, and how people ever settled out of court in that lawsuit.. still amazes me. I'm glad none of the companies I do consultation work did.. as if another lawsuit comes.. they will be able to jump in.. and should.
