Ever since the last google update, FU has shown a little weird for me.
Sometimes it shows a PR of 0, sometimes a 5, sometimes a 2.
Right now, if open it in IE, it shows a 2 (see attached).
If I open it in FX, it shows a 5 (see attached).
What's up wit dat?

That's pretty weird, but at the moment it's showing 5 for me in both FF and IE.
Ah, http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank/ seems to explain it - some servers have it at 2, some at 5. I think it's reasonable to say that google is still updating.
As for 'Does anyone understand PR?' - I don't think anyone really does (not working for google).

That's what I was thinking. That I was accessing different google servers. It's just weird that different browsers would choose different servers. I don't think they all have accessed the same servers on the same day.
It's madness.
Madness I say!
Holy cow...is that seochat pagerank accurate? It has one of my sites at PR6 across the board!
[EDIT]Make that two sites. One is a client, and I took over when it was PR3. ;)

A 6 has benefits. http://www.getmesmileys.com/smilies/love0007.gif
http://www.webmastereyes.com/ is an eye opener  Opening one of my index pages shows PR8 on a link not updated in seven or 8 years. All others seem pretty spot on though.

Yeah. This forum has the most confusing results.
Maybe that's just because I come here a bit and notice it more. But, I swear, it's always something different.

Ofcourse right now its a PR4.
I dont think Pr is in updation now, because it updates every 100 days and its been only a month and bit more to last update.

my personal theory about PR is that your site will have a high PR if it is active, has more than a handful of incoming links with high PR site.
If my personal theory is wrong, am ready to learn.
