I started the forum two days ago, and we've already passed 1000 posts. Sure, just about every post is off-topic, but we're doing a heck of a job growing the forum.

Please let me know what you think. The forum software is extremely complex, with general skinning requiring all of this crazy php code, but, if you have any suggestions, i'll do my best to implement them.

I see that your target audience is . . . Okay. I don't see who it is. But I have a general idea. Still, I'd like to see something that says what you are when a visitor first lands there. Maybe even explain how the forum software's laid out. "We have one forum category. All threads go here. bla bla bla. Get me a beer." or something like that. Just a little something that explains who you are and how it works.

I'm not a fan of reading with white background. Maybe dim it a tone?

I changed the colors. Now it looks a lot worse than it was before but you should be okay with it now.

that would be a neat idea. Make up a custom skin for your users, and in that skin include:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://trollin.net" />

then hide the skin, and whenever you get sick of a user, you give them the skin, and they are sent off to my forum.
