what do u think? is that fine? long names + long descriptions?
how would u reformulate those names?

At the time of writing, they look fine. Couldn't find the text you mentioned above, so I imagine you've been changing it...or I'm blind.

Basically with Forum Names and descriptions, just make them stick to the point. Basically, my rules when it comes to making forums are:
Forum Name: Exactly what the forum is (Ex: Introductions, Articles, General Discussion)
Forum Description: Extend slightly on the Forum Name, Also include important things about that forum (For example if post counting is disabled, or if there is a very important thread to read first)
Always try to keep the forum description in one or two lines though, it can make it rather annoying to users if the forum description is 5 lines long, as it stretches the table on the Index page
When i visited your site, i found all the Names and Descriptions to be quite perfect ;)
